The Family Ministry Team serves as the umbrella committee for ministry to families with children and for inter-generational programming at UUSS. This includes supporting children’s religious education programming, parenting groups and classes, youth and children’s groups (separate from RE or Sunday School), inter-generational activities, and the integration of children and youth into Sunday mornings.
Our Family Ministry Team mission is to promote family-friendly, church community events and support family-friendly programming throughout the year.

Sunday, January 18, 2026 – Religious Education and Family Ministry hosts Soup Sunday After the service in the Welcome Hall – Sign up to bring a soup, serve soup, or just enjoy soup from RE and Family Ministry volunteers. Plan to stay and share community with families and children and those who are involved in RE and Family Ministry.
Sunday, April 5, 2026 – Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny – after service on the playground lawn behind Room 11 – Join our friendly Easter Bunny for an Egg Hunt with a luncheon buffet to follow. Youth are invited to help hide Easter eggs during the service.
